Women’s Fellowship

Diocese Women Fellowship for Christian Services

Women’s Ministries provide women with an opportunity to study God’s word, serve others and give and receive biblically sound support. Simply, it is women connecting with women and encouraging their work with Christ.

It was first introduced as, “Mother’s Union”, where women members met in fellowship and discussed various issues related to their churches.

In due course of time, this association was renamed to W.F.C.S. and was recognized as a separate unit under the Diocese with its own Constitution.

In every church, Women's fellowship has installed with its office bearers and they report their activities, and events, to the women's fellowship at the Diocesan level (D.W.F.C.S.).

D.W.F.C.S organizes area-wise cottage prayers, and meetings and often invites Christian women to join in fellowship for betterment. Women's fellowship champions any worthy cause related to the church and also raises finance to fund any deserving cause when necessary. Women fellowship regularly visit the homes of the sick and aged in the congregation and pray for the people at the hospitals. It also takes responsibility for Church programs and activities like arranging altar accessories and collecting donations.

Our Mission

We focus on developing Bible study groups as a foundation, keeping the mission and community outreach a priority, finding and training dedicated leaders, praying for each other, and working closely with Church and Diocesan staff.

To maintain, uplift and strengthen this women's fellowship, our Bishop, Pastors, Women leaders, and generous donors have played a key role. We are thankful to all the people working behind the stage to continuously support the DWFCS.
