The Diocesan Bike Rally – “Faith in Motion” in Nainital was not just an adventure; it was a journey imbued with purpose and spirituality. Guided by the blessings of the Rt Revd. Dr. Paul Swarup, the Bishop of Delhi, and under the leadership of Revd. Samuel Shekhar, the Diocesan Youth Director, the event aimed to intertwine physical activity with spiritual contemplation. Spearheaded by Mr. Ajitabh Alwin Thomas, the event convenor, the rally commenced with a meaningful start.

Event Highlights

Before hitting the road, the bikers gathered at St. Stephen's College to attend a chapel service, setting the spiritual tone for their expedition. The event was officially flagged off by Mr. Oliver Joshua Jacob (DYFC - President) and Ms. Mrigakshi Aura Bruce (DYFC - Vice President) at Rudra Gate, St. Stephen's College, marking the beginning of their exhilarating journey.

The Journey

As the riders embarked on their adventure, they delved into scripture readings, led by Revd. Fr. Monodeep Daniel (PhD), and engaged in theological discussions during their stopovers.

Throughout the three-day event in Nainital, participants explored the scenic landscapes while engaging in prayer sessions, Bible study sessions, and moments of reflection. The rally fostered unity and solidarity among participants from various pastorates within the Delhi Diocese, as they shared their faith journeys and supported each other spiritually.

Conclusion

After an enriching journey filled with spiritual growth and camaraderie, the Diocesan Bike Rally – “Faith in Motion” reached its culmination at St. Stephen's College. The riders returned to where it all began, completing their adventure with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude.

To mark the end of this memorable event, a special dinner was organized for all the riders at St. Stephen's College by DYFC. Gathered together once more, participants reminisced about their experiences, shared stories of their journey, and celebrated the bonds forged along the way. The evening served as a fitting conclusion to the rally, a time for reflection, fellowship, and appreciation for the transformative power of faith in motion.
